Community and Schools Crime Prevention project

Community and Schools Crime Prevention Implemented in 2011 to 2016 with support from OSF. The project aimed at supporting community and school systems and structures in crime and violence prevention, while empowering community members and school pupils with life skills and income generating skills. The project was implemented in 38 schools and communities within 6 counties in Kenya: Nakuru, Muranga, Nyeri, Kakamega, Taita Taveta and Makueni. The project contributed to a reduction in crime and violence incidence within schools and community, including improved reporting mechanisms
