PGS Training in Siaya County

RODI Kenya conducted a Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) training with the Jamii Development Community Group in Luoro Village, East Asembo Ward, Rarieda Sub County, Siaya County. The training brought together community members to strengthen their understanding of agroecology, organic farming practices, and farmer-led quality assurance systems.

Through the session, participants explored sustainable farming methods, the importance of safe food production, and the role of community participation in promoting environmentally friendly agriculture. The training also encouraged knowledge sharing and collective action towards building resilient local food systems and improving household livelihoods.
